Travis Gutiérrez Senger is a Mexican American director, writer and producer. He is currently in post-production on ASCO: WITHOUT PERMISSION, a genre-pushing documentary about the Chicano, avant-garde art group ASCO and the next generation of Latinx artists. The film is executive produced by Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna. La Corriente del Golfo, Exile Content and North of Now are producing. The Ford Foundation and Film Independent have supported the project.
His past narrative, documentary and music video projects have won top awards at the Tribeca, SXSW, SIFF and other notable festivals around the globe. He is in development on his second narrative feature, FREEWOLVES and founded Asa Nisi Masa Films with a focus on bold, progressive film projects.
Sabrina Coulston is a producer at Asa Nisi Masa Films. She’s currently producing ASCO: WITHOUT PERMISSION, a documentary about the avant-garde art group ASCO, directed by Travis Gutiérrez Senger and executive produced by Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna. The project has received support from the Ford Foundation and Film Independent. Her previous work includes narrative features, documentary shorts and commercials. Her films have played at major festivals including SXSW, Tribeca, SIFF, American Film Festival in Wrocław and Champs-Élysées and her commercial projects include clients such Samsung, Stella Artois and American Express.
