This ensemble film follows DJ Cutmaster Cruz, his best friend and MC, K La Rock, his girlfriend and partner, Ruby Dee, and club owner Charlie Walker as they navigate their way through the early days of Hip-Hop and the volatile world of the South Bronx in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Christopher “Play” Martin is executive producing and DJ Charlie Chase and Mark “Skillz” McCord are consulting. Travis Gutiérrez Senger is writing/directing.
